How to make fried ice cream
Ingredients
- 1.5 quart of vanilla or your favorite ice cream
- 3cups of vanilla wafer cookies
- 2cups of cornflake cereal
- 1 table spoon of cinnamon sugar
- 1/2 cups of pecans
- add 3 egg white
- 2 quart oil for frying

chocolate
honey
cherrie
caramel
Intructions
scoop ice cream into 8, half cup sized balls and freeze for an hour
Blend the vanilla wafers, cornflakes and pecans in a blender
combine vanilla wafers, cornflakes, pecans and cinnamon in a shallow dish
in a bowl beat egg whites until foamy
Roll ice cream balls in egg white mixture, then in the vanilla wafer, cornflake and pecan mixture, completely covering the ice cream balls. Freeze for 3 hours
In deep fryer or heavy saucepan heat oil to 375 degrees
using a basket or slotted spoon, fry ice cream balls 1 or 2 at a time, for 15 to 20 sec until golden brown. Drain quickly on paper towels
add toppings (optional) and serve
